This striving for complete autonomy can lead to internal stress and burnout, as we attempt to shoulder burdens that are ultimately beyond our control, overlooking the peace available in surrendering the final 'establishing' to a greater power.

Dear Lord, I confess my tendency to plan every detail and then worry excessively about the outcome. Help me to remember that even as I plan my way, You are the one who establishes my steps. Guide my heart and my hands today as I trust in Your perfect will.
