Our True Home is Heavenly

Have you ever looked up at the horizon, dreaming of another place, a place that would truly feel like "home"? This yearning for a perfect world, for deep peace, is an echo God has placed within us. It reminds us of our true destiny. This world we know is but a short passage, not our eternal dwelling.

Your Gaze Beyond

Sometimes, our days are so full, our worries so present, that we forget the deep meaning of our journey. Routine captures us, problems weigh on our hearts. We become attached to what is here and now, as if it were all that existed, forgetting that every moment is a step.

Yet, the Lord invites us to a greater and higher vision. He asks us not to fix our gaze solely on the visible, on what is fleeting and will eventually disappear. Our current challenges are real, yes, but they are not the end of the story. A glorious future awaits us, far beyond what our eyes can see today. This future is the certain hope of Jesus' return.

Citizens of Another Kingdom

Imagine yourself traveling, far from your native land. You live in a foreign country, you respect its customs, but you know your true home is elsewhere. Your heart is already turned towards returning, towards your roots, your family, your heritage. This is exactly our situation here on earth as believers.

We are pilgrims, transient travelers on this earth, much like ambassadors. Our citizenship, our true identity, and our rights are not from here. They are established in heaven, with Christ. This thought does not make us passive in the face of the world's problems; quite the opposite. It gives us an unshakable inner strength and peace amidst turbulence, for it reminds us that our values, our direction, and our security come from above.

A New Earth Awaits You

Amidst our expectations, the Bible promises us an incredibly beautiful future. It speaks of a new earth where righteousness will reign perfectly and where every tear will be finally wiped away. This is not a distant dream or a lovely story, but a sure promise from God, our heavenly Father.

Jesus is returning to establish His perfect kingdom, a place where suffering, sin, and death will no longer have any place, for eternity. Imagine a world without pain, without sickness, without heartbreaking goodbyes. A place where we will live in perfect harmony with Him, face to face, forever. This new earth is our inheritance, our final destination. It is there that our waiting will end, and our joy will be complete, in the eternal and glorious presence of our Savior.
