Contextual discernment
Why do I dream of table since my conversion?
This angle exists only in the biblical reading. Here is the general reading of table, with no religious reference.
General reading
Outside religious symbolism, a table in a dream usually represents connection, negotiation, or the gathering of the different parts of your life — who sits with you says a lot about who currently belongs in your inner circle. A full, abundant table often shows up during a period of real satisfaction or reconciliation. An empty table, or one where seats are missing, usually reflects loneliness or a felt absence — someone who should be there but isn't, whether through distance, conflict, or loss. A table where an argument breaks out frequently mirrors real unresolved tension in a family or close relationship. The useful question is not 'who was at the table' but: who is missing from my life right now that I haven't fully let myself grieve or address?
