How we use AI, what we refuse, how your data is protected.
What Noctely does not replace
Noctely is the platform that helps you understand what your life is trying to show you — a listening and reflection companion. It does not replace a doctor, a psychologist, an emergency service, or a trusted counselor in your life. In case of distress, suicidal thoughts or crisis, please reach out immediately to a trusted person or qualified help service.
1. AI in service of discernment, not verdict
The AI behind NOCTELY is designed as a reflection companion. It asks questions, suggests paths, quotes verses — it never decides for you.
Every answer is explicitly framed as a "possible path," never as "the meaning of your dream." Meaning belongs to you and the Holy Spirit.
We use models guided by a strict theological framework, reviewed by our committee. No response leaves the biblical frame we define.
2. Your dreams belong to you
Your journal is private by default. No one on the NOCTELY team reads it, except by your explicit request (e.g. counseling consultation).
We never resell your data, your dreams, or any element of your inner life. To no third party, no advertiser, never.
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored on European servers (Supabase, GDPR-compliant).
3. Who can see what
You: everything, anytime, from your journal.
The AI: only the dream content you submit, for the duration of the conversation. No persistent history transmitted to the models.
Our team: no personal data, except for technical incidents to diagnose (anonymized logs kept 30 days max).
A counselor (consultation): only the dreams you explicitly choose to share.
4. Deletion and forgetting
You can delete a dream anytime from your journal. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
You can delete your entire account from settings. All your data is erased within 30 days (legal backup window).
No copy is kept after deletion — no "shadow copy" for marketing, no hidden archive.
What we will never do
- Train AI models on your dreams without explicit consent.
- Sell, rent, or share your data with commercial third parties.
- Use your dreams for targeted advertising.
- Keep your account after a deletion request.
- Present an AI response as a certain prophetic word.
