Manifesto

Why NOCTELY is not — and will never be — a divination site.

Our commitment

No prediction.

We will never tell anyone what will happen to them. We do not read the future. Divination is forbidden by Scripture (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) — and we take that seriously.

No automatic dictionary.

A snake does not mean the same thing for everyone. A water dream may speak of peace, purification, chaos, baptism, death. Meaning comes from the Holy Spirit, the context, your life — never from a lookup table.

No fear.

We refuse the aesthetics of shock, demons, the sensational. The Christian night isn't a permanent battlefield. It's also a place of peace, gentleness, presence.

What we believe

  • God sometimes speaks through dreams (Job 33, Joel 2, Matthew 1-2). Not every dream comes from Him.
  • Discernment belongs to the believer, the community, and the Scriptures — not to an algorithm.
  • A misunderstood dream is better than a false certainty. Silence and prayer are sometimes the best answer.
  • AI can help frame questions, suggest paths, recall verses. It replaces neither the Holy Spirit, nor a human counselor, nor a brother or sister in faith.

What we refuse

  • Any interpretation presented as certain or definitive.
  • Any language of fear, threat, or judgment.
  • Any association with the occult, astrology, numerology, tarot.
  • Any reselling of your data, your dreams, your inner life.

The tone we want to keep

Calm. Humble. Slow. A gentle letter, not a spectacular promise. What matters isn't that NOCTELY be impressive — it's that it leads you, gently, back to God.

"Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God." — 1 John 4:1
