When a dream becomes a message — discerning without overheating.
Some dreams take the direct form of a message: a book opens, writing appears on a wall, a phone rings, an angel speaks, a mirror reflects. These are the most discussed in Scripture: Pharaoh's dream, Daniel's vision, the writing on the wall (Daniel 5), the angel speaking to Joseph. They call for strengthened discernment.

Writing on the wall is the archetype of an external message asking for interpretation. Never alone: Daniel is summoned. If you dream of words being written, ask a pastor to help you read.
Revelation 5:1

A book in a dream is almost always a word about your life as an open book before God, or a Word to receive. A closed book, a book you search for, a book offered: each nuance matters.

Golden rule for these dreams: never draw a conclusion alone from a dream that 'speaks.' The most striking dreams are precisely the ones to submit to a pastor, to the Word, to the community. Scripture confirms it every time (Joseph, Daniel, Pharaoh, Peter).
